Naksup
Nakusp is located on the shores of Upper Arrow Lake in the Selkirk Mountains in south central British Columbia. It is situated in a valley surrounded by spectacular mountains, clear lakes, rivers, streams and breathtaking scenery.
Arrow Lakes Reservoir lies in a north-south orientation, in the valley separating the Monashee and Selkirk ranges, in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia. The 230-km reservoir impounds the original Arrow Lakes and the Columbia River behind the Hugh Keenleyside Dam.
A boat dock and boat fuel are available at Syringa Creek Provincial Park and Nakusp. Boat launching facilities exist at Syringa Creek, McDonald Creek, Shelter Bay, Edgewood Park, Fauquier Park, Burton Historical Park, Eagle Bay, Nakusp and Centennial Park.
