Kimberley is located in the south eastern corner of British Columbia just north of the U.S. Border. The City population (6,484) enjoys views overlooking the fertile and beautiful Kootenay River Valley and the Rocky Mountains to the east.

Cominco Gardens has long been a favorite among the visitors to Kimberley. These gardens were originally intended to showcase the Elephant Brand Fertilizer which Cominco produced. They are located 5 minutes drive from downtown and are an attraction that everyone will enjoy. The Gardens feature over 45,000 blooms per year.

Sullivan Mine Interpretive Centre: This historic mining train offers a unique view of Kimberley's Mining history. The downtown Station (is 2 minutes west of the Platzl). The train ride offers visitors a view of the old entrance to the Sullivan Mine, mining displays (along the tracks) and other interesting highlights.

Kimberley Platzl: The Platzl is a pedestrian mall in the downtown centre. Modelled on a Bavarian theme, the Platzl combines unique shops with an European village atmosphere. Visitors may see a wandering accordionist performing, the town mascot Happy Hans, and one of the Platzl's most popular features the large free standing Cuckoo Clock in North America.
