Take a short walk from the spacious, wrap-around deck to the sandy beach
of the Granby river. Just meters from the house, this private swimming hole
is the perfect spot to cool off on a hot summer day; and with over 1 mile
of river front and endless acreage to explore, you will surely find your days
as adventurous or relaxing as you prefer. While you're here, explore the Rock
Candy Mine with the homestead's owner James Hall. This beautiful hike is amazing
for scenery alone, but when you arrive at the mine you will have a blast using
picks to "mine" your own druzy quartz and flourite crystals to take home with
you. Golf fanatics can spend their days at the Grandby River Golf Club which
is expected to open in June of 2007. Outdoor adventurers will find biking,
hiking, and river recreation at their fingertips. After arriving at the Granby
River Homestead, you will find yourself at a home away from home. 
With
4 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 2500 sq.feet of living area, there is
plenty of space for a few people or your entire family. The fully equipped
kitchen is not only functional for cooking large or small meals, but also
has a panoramic view of the Monoshee Mountains.
On the first floor of the home is the kitchen which has a breakfast bar and stools, the dining room with an antique dining table, the living room which is decorated in soft leather furniture and has a fireplace and television, a comfortable sitting room perfect for reading or afternoon naps, and a bedroom with a private bathroom. Sleeping accommodations are found on the second floor. Three bright, country style rooms are furnished with top of the line queen sized beds and have windows overlooking the beautiful pastures and mountains. The Granby Suite is the largest of the rooms and has two sitting chairs, a dresser and a personal refrigerator. The Southern Exposure Bedroom is quaint and features a view of the horse pasture and sitting couch. These suites share a large bathroom with a double sink, a large tiled shower, and a classic claw-foot porcelain tub next to a window over looking the pasture and river. The Pass Creek Suite also features a queen sized bed with windows overlooking the property; an additional luxury is the en suite sitting room and bathroom featuring custom slate tile.
